Project timelines vary depending on the scope of work. At ATE Builders Group, we take on one project at a time and show up every day until completion, ensuring your remodel is finished efficiently—typically within 7-10 days for standard guest bathroom remodel to 1-1 1/2 months for large scale full basement finishing projects. A clear timeline is provided before we begin.

Although this is one of the most frequently asked questions, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. The cost of each project varies based on your needs and the extent of the work. To find out the cost of your project, contact us today to schedule a free in-home estimate.

Home remodeling is noisy and messy, but yes—you can certainly live in your home during the remodel. At ATE Builders Group, we limit dust and debris by covering areas not being worked on, cleaning the job site daily, and completing messier tasks, like tile cutting, outside whenever possible. For these reasons, most homeowners choose to stay in their homes during the remodel.

Unexpected issues can occasionally arise during remodeling, such as hidden vent pipes, ductwork, or damaged or incomplete materials. When this happens, we always communicate with the homeowner first to review the situation, discuss solutions, and explain any potential cost changes before moving forward. We never make changes that increase the price without your approval.

Yes—we guide you through both design and material selection. With over 25 years of experience, we help you visualize your new deck, create open-concept kitchen layouts, design the right-size walk-in shower, and choose materials that are durable, stylish, and cost-effective. At ATE Builders Group, we’re more than contractors—we handle the entire process, so you can skip hiring a separate designer.

Payments are structured in stages and outlined clearly in your contract. An initial payment is due upon acceptance, with remaining payments divided based on the size of the project. For example, a standard guest bathroom remodel is typically split into three payments, while larger projects like basement finishing are divided into four. Each payment aligns with completed milestones, and the final payment is made after a walkthrough to ensure you’re 100% satisfied. Originally quoted price in the contract will never change unless homeowners request additional work. Pricing will be discussed and we will only move forward with the changes once accepted.
